1) Table of Contents was set up
2) Handed out "Chapter 1 Vocabulary" (page 2), "Biotic and Abiotic" (page 3), "Basic Needs of Biotic Elements" (page 4), "Abiotic Elements" (page 5), "Living and Non-Living Assignment" (page 6), and "Interaction of Biotic and Abiotic Elements Crossword" (page 7) and numbered them in our notes
3) Handed out and did "Living and Non-Living Assignment" (page 6) with the students

4) Students filled in "Animal Cell" (page 11), and "Plant Cell" (page 12) on their own by using  "Parts of the Plant and Animal Cells" (page 10)
